Volunteer for Ondoy Victims

ANNOUNCEMENT: no classes tomorrow, September 29, 2009 in UP DIliman. classes will resume on Sept. 30, 2009. (from the USC)

The Projects and Operations (PAO) Department of the UPRCY will be collecting the following as relief goods for those affected by the storm:

RICE (more important than canned goods that require can openers)

instant/cup noodles
canned goods

bottled water
clothes
flashlights and batteries
whatever you can spare for the evacuees

These will be forwarded to the Univ. Student Council once classes resume. please coordinate with the VP-PAO, Sue Quirante 0928-7117516

Past and present RCYers are encouraged and requested to help repack relief goods at the QCRC or their local chapters. Let's volunteer now when we're most needed. Stay safe everyone.

Upcoming Medical-Dental Mission

Hello to alumni and friends!

Do you miss being a volunteer? Now's your chance! You are invited to serve with us at the upcoming medical-dental mission for UP maintenance staff this September 14, 2009 (Monday) from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. The mission will take place at the AS Parking Lot. The call time for set up is 11am and briefing starts at 12nn. You may opt to man the following committees: a) logistics, b) registration, c) assessment (BP taking and weighing), d) doctors' and dentists' assitants, e) sanitation, and f) pharmacy. Please make us know if you will come through Sue (09267117516) preferrably on or before Sunday, September 13, 2009, so we can inform you of protocols as well as inform our committee heads accordingly.

Attire is org shirt/white shirt, closed shoes, and jeans. We advise you against wearing jewelry to avoid any loss.

The event is a tie up with UPJMA, USC, and other organizations.

Ngayon naman antabayanan ang nalalapit na medical mission sa Lunes, 14Sept09. Sana ay dumalo kayo.
